The GPro 100W solves that limitation at the source by using a MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) fibre laser, which separates the pulse-generating stage from the amplification stage. Because of that separation, the machine can adjust pulse width (2–500 ns) and frequency (1–3,000 kHz) independently, rather than being locked to one fixed pulse shape like a standard Q-switched fibre laser, and that fixed-pulse limitation is exactly what forces most shops to outsource specialised marking jobs in the first place.
As a result, the same machine can produce a clean, deep engrave on stainless steel in one setup, then switch to a controlled, oxidation-based colour mark on titanium in the next, work that would otherwise require two different machines or two different suppliers.
