Professional Metal Engraving, Made in Your Own Workshop

The G2 Pro delivers professional-grade results because of how its galvo system controls the laser beam. Rather than moving the entire laser head across the material — which introduces mechanical wobble and slows down fine detail work — the galvanometer redirects the beam itself using mirrors, allowing it to move with far greater speed and precision. This is why the machine can hit marking speeds of up to 15,000 mm/s while still holding a repeat accuracy of ±0.001 mm: the beam, not the machine body, is doing the moving.

That same precision allows the 30W ytterbium fibre laser to cut through the surface tension of dense metals cleanly, reaching engraving depths of up to 3 mm without the drift or blurring you'd get from a less controlled beam path. Because the fibre laser's wavelength of 1064 nm is particularly well absorbed by metals, it converts more of its energy into clean, precise marking rather than wasted heat, which is why fine text and small logos stay legible instead of scorching or smudging at the edges.

The enclosed housing and radiation-proof shell work for the same reason the galvo system does: containing the beam path lets the machine run at higher power and speed safely, without compromising the accuracy that makes the results usable for professional, repeatable output.

Workflow Advantages

  • Industrial-grade galvo system — Work with the same accuracy standard used in professional marking equipment, giving you confidence in every piece you produce.
  • ±0.001 mm repeat accuracy — Reproduce fine detail and small text reliably, so custom and personalised orders look professional every time.
  • 15,000 mm/s marking speed — Move through production runs faster, freeing up time to take on more orders or refine your craft.
  • 3 mm engraving depth on metal — Take on deeper, more permanent engraving work in addition to surface marking, broadening what you can offer customers.
  • 360° cylindrical rotary engraving — Personalise curved items like tumblers and rings with the same precision as flat surfaces, expanding your product range.
  • Handheld and inclined engraving support — Mark oversized or awkwardly shaped items that wouldn't fit a standard bed, without limiting your workflow.
  • Fully enclosed, radiation-proof design with fume extraction — Operate the machine safely in a home studio or small workshop.
  • Live engraving preview — See your design positioned accurately before you commit, reducing wasted material.
  • LightBurn and GWEIKE Glaser compatibility — Work in software you already know, or take advantage of dedicated features, so you're not restricted to a single workflow.
  • Bluetooth and USB connectivity — Set up and run jobs with minimal cabling, reducing clutter in the workspace.
